Rebuild Schools in Africa

About the project

Our first project is a new school in DR Congo for children under 15 years old. In addition to the long-lasting impact of repeated wars 1997, existing schools are severely lacking in basic supplies of educational tools like stationary, mathematical equipment, and classroom equipment.

Starting point

The first step to understand the scope of the project was to learn what shaped a child's learning experience in Congo and to find out how we could make improvements.

Support from local communities

Location, scale, and accessibility was absolutely crucial to this project. We wanted to make the biggest but most realistic impact to the educational landscape in DR Congo.

End result

Contextualizing the needs of Congolese schoolchildren, their parents, and their educators helps us to construct a well-equipped, bright, and accessible place of learning.

Our main goal is to spread the gospel so that those who have been made in God's image might be fully developed. We also acknowledge that education is crucial to human progress.
